The extended care program gives children time to play freely and choose between a multitude of open-ended materials such as dramatic play items, blocks and art materials. They may use the time to work on any of their Montessori projects, spend time in our outdoor play area or may have the opportunity to visit the local park (if pick-up schedules permit). Extended care teachers invite children to participate in daily activities focused on yoga, music, culinary arts, cultural studies, fine arts, etc. Parents can request to drop-in AM Care or PM Care based on availability.

This program is only open to children enrolled in the school day at Fishtown Montessori.
